About CDC’s One and Only Campaign

Enovachem Pharmaceuticals produces EnovaRX Single Component Cream Kits and Single-Use Injection Kits (SUIK). EnovaRX SUIK, in particular, is in support of the Centers for Disease and Control Prevention’s (CDC) One and Only Campaign.
One and Only Campaign seeks to raise awareness on the safe use of injections. Its tagline, “One Needle, One Syringe, Only One Time,” speaks of the priority for patient protection and injection safety. The mission of One and Only Campaign is to eradicate the diseases that result from unsafe injection practices.
When CDC launched the campaign in 2009, the healthcare industry was already dealing with hundreds of thousands of people who have been diagnosed with preventable diseases such as HIV, Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis C, which were the result of unsafe injection practices, such as syringe re-use.
The campaign has produced literature and materials to increase awareness of safe injection practices. Stakeholders such as healthcare professionals, healthcare systems, private companies, and others have teamed up to form the Safe Injection Practices Coalition to expand the reach of the campaign.
