PeacePlayers Impact — How to Help Youth with Sports
The owner of Physician Ancillary Management, Chris Manfuso graduated cum laude with a degree in finance from James Madison University. In addition to his business-related leadership work, Chris Manfuso founded the BeMore Charity over 10 years ago. Although the organization is no longer around, Mr. Manfuso continues his philanthropic work by supporting PeacePlayers International, which has similar goals.
PeacePlayers is designed to unite communities and help youth learn teamwork and social skills by using the power of sport. Individually, PeacePlayers helps young people by providing education and inspiration to make the world a better place.
PeacePlayers creates programs to engage local communities, with significant impact since its foundation in 2005. Two thousand coaches have been trained, 75,000 youth were involved, and the organization has partnered with more than 2,000 schools and nonprofits worldwide.
Among the opportunities offered on the organization’s website are internships, U.S. careers, and international fellowships. Through the latter, post-collegiate scholar-athletes can serve as mentors and role-models, besides receiving exceptional professional and educational experience.
Anyone can donate and help PeacePlayers international in their community engagement programs. Donations can be made by check or through the institution’s website, www.peaceplayers.org.
